Finance and Commercial Systems

System reviews

Purely Financial is experienced in carrying out forensic reviews of Construction systems and business processes and controls to provide comfort that systems are operating as expected, and highlight areas where improvements can be made. Often these reviews are at the request of customers following a period of fluctuating results that are not fully understood or the identification of a potential systems issue that requires our thorough investigation. Outcomes of reviews have identified duplicated, incorrectly mapped, and even missing transactions in general ledger systems.

We also understand that often there are multiple systems in place either to support bespoke business processes, functional requirements such as Commercial cost/value control, or for legacy reasons such as systems inherited through acquisition. We are experienced in working with multiple systems, and in the automation and controls required for integrating data between systems.

Procurement and Implementation

Purely Financial is independent from any Construction system providers and work with customers to provide independent support through procurement and the gathering of requirements; designing the accounting structures; defining business processes; designing management information and reporting; and working with the selected system providers to implement and fully test systems prior to roll-out.

We lead systems projects and also integrate with customers' own project teams to support the delivery of outcomes. Our involvement can be flexible to cover resource and skill shortages.

Purely Financial also partners with Construction sector IT specialists Single Point Solutions to provide a combined offering of sector specific accounting; commercial; process and technical IT expertise.

Single Point Solutions have first-hand knowledge and experience of all the leading Construction systems. Together we have procured and implemented a range of leading financial and commercial systems for a number of listed and privately owned Construction sector companies.
